Destiny, Faith, or Influence?

My favorite character in the play is lady Macbeth. She is one of the Shakespeare’s most famous frightening female characters. She planned the king’s murder from the beginning of the play and she is more ambitious, more determined and stronger that her husband, Macbeth. She also knows that she has to push Macbeth forward and encourage him to kill the king since she thought he is too kind to kill someone. Her motivation and ambition is showed when she wishes she were a male and could do this by herself. Lady Macbeth’s character invites us to consider one of the themes of the play, which is the relationship between the gender and the power. The play is showing that a woman can be as ambitious, as cruel, as violent, and as strong as a man but in a different way. We actually can see many examples for what i mentioned in our politic and social lives where a woman has absolute control over her man, his choices, and his actions.
In my opinion, Lady Macbeths’ character works some how like the three witches. They are all a strong influence on Macbeth decisions and beliefs, which lead him to kill the king and own the throne. Every time that Macbeth doubt if killing the king is the right thing to do or not, lady Macbeth questioned his manhood to convince him and encourage him.
I think her ambitious will hurt her more at the end of the play because she is deeply into this crime that she will feel more guilty and regretful than Macbeth after the king is dead. She also might act mad! I’m extremely interested to see how she convince mabeth!
